God With Us
Spend December with Jesus Himself. All four Gospels in 31 days, about three chapters a morning, and the Christmas story is your assigned reading on Christmas Eve.
Or take the gentler road: Luke, one chapter a day, and you finish the whole story of Jesus the night before Christmas.

How it works
Mark: what Jesus did
We start with the action gospel. Six days of miracles, storms calmed, and a cross He walked to on purpose, before anyone explains a thing.
John: who Jesus is
Then John tells you who you have been watching. The Word became flesh. Bread of life. Light of the world. The resurrection and the life.
Matthew: the promised King
Matthew proves it from the Scriptures: this is the King every promise pointed to. The Sermon on the Mount lands mid-December.
Luke: the manger, on Christmas Eve
After three weeks of walking with Him, Luke sits you down at the manger. Luke 2 is the assigned reading on Christmas Eve, and by then you know exactly who that baby is.
What you get
Daily Email
Every morning, the day's chapters with reading links and a short note from me. The Scripture is the meal; my note just sets the table.
Two Paces
All four Gospels in 31 days, or Luke one chapter a day finished by Christmas Eve, then a quiet week in John to end the year.
Christmas, In Order
The reading plan is built so the Christmas story lands on Christmas. Mary and the angel on the 23rd, the manger on Christmas Eve.

Why the Gospels in December
December is the month the whole world talks about Jesus, and most of us spend it doing everything except actually reading about Him. This year, let's flip that.
Here is the order, and it is not an accident. Mark shows you what Jesus did. John tells you who He is. Matthew proves He is the King every promise pointed to. And then, after three weeks of walking with Him, Luke sits you down at the manger on Christmas Eve and says: this baby is Him.
People who have heard the Christmas story fifty times will feel it differently after twenty-two days with Jesus first. That is the gift of this month. Not a new story, but new eyes.
Come read the Gospels with me, and walk into the new year the way the Emmaus travelers walked home: hearts burning.
