Hello there!

It's good to meet you.

I'm Heather Lyn Wilson, an author, public speaker, and CEO celebrated for her boldness and authenticity. Through storytelling, I want to stir hearts toward generosity and inspire women to lead courageously.

Heather Lyn Wilson

A little about me.

I'm an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and cofounder of GiveSendGo, which I've spent the past decade building alongside my brother Jacob. What started as a crowdfunding platform became something much bigger. A front row seat to generosity, courage, heartbreak, miracles, and the reminder that hope is never truly lost.

Everything I do comes back to the same heartbeat: helping people step into who God created them to be.

I write and speak from real life. From leadership and business. From motherhood and marriage. From fostering, adoption, criticism, insecurity, faith, risk, and learning to trust God in seasons where I felt completely unqualified. I'm not interested in polished perfection. I care about honest conversations that help people grow.

A lot of my message centers around women because I meet so many who are quietly shrinking back. Women waiting for permission. Women hiding behind insecurity, titles, relationships, fear of failure, or fear of being "too much."

But you were not created to live small. You were created on purpose, for a purpose, and the world needs what God placed inside of you.

That belief is woven through my books, my speaking, my leadership, and honestly, my whole life. I want women to leave feeling encouraged, challenged, seen, and a little more brave than they were before.

Where I come from.

I grew up as one of twelve kids, so life was rarely quiet. There was always someone talking, laughing, helping, arguing, celebrating, or showing up at the table. I think growing up surrounded by people is part of why building community has always felt natural to me. Honestly, it probably makes perfect sense that I eventually ended up in crowdfunding.

My faith has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. It is not something separate from my work, leadership, or creativity. It shapes all of it. Whether I am building companies, writing books, speaking, or creating new ideas, the heartbeat behind it is the same: helping people live with courage, generosity, purpose, and faith.

Today I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with my husband Dan and our kids. We have fostered, adopted, built businesses, taken big risks, opened our home wide, and learned a lot along the way. Life is full, meaningful, sometimes loud, and deeply rooted in the belief that ordinary people can shine brightly when they step into who God created them to be.

What I'm passionate about.

Generosity that actually costs something.
Big family dinners.
Watching women find their voice again.
Building things that help people.
Late-night conversations about faith and purpose.
Seeing ordinary people do brave things.
Books that make you think.
Opening our home wide.
Helping people remember that hope is never gone.
